a pine stick shaped somewhat of a pistol...shot lots stuff with that thing. and what didnt get shot got pine cone/ chestnut grenades.
At 10, like my siblings, I received a Remington nylon 66 Mohawk brown with my name engraved on it. still shoots 'lights out'

Savage 24-C O/U 22LR/20 Gauge and I had the FourTenner insert Barrel. Also had the Yellow factory vinyl folding case. I used to strap it to my BMX handlebars and ride to the edge of town at the railroad tracks. I'd walk my bike down the tracks and ditch it in the weeds, then start walking the rail, more like stalking, had permission to hunt a few places a few miles out. I hunt from the tracks then hir the woods. Mostly chasing rabbits and bushy tails then. Saw tons of cool stuff walking those rails in silence.

I replaced it a few years ago and a good friend made me a beautiful copy of the factory case in leather. It's now my granddaughters first gun. One real problem, She's going to be 6" tall and shell outgrow it by the time she is 12.
