The AK market has been here since the 70's.....well before and it will be well after that lil POS AR market.

Far enough away so you don't have to call in an air strike...you're military, so you know that aint 1 mile away like all the wannabe "tactical operators" say they can shoot.

Oh...and by the way..the AK has more knock down power.

10thmountain I went with the Arsenal Ak but if your not wanting to spend a ton the wasr will get the job done. The market on Ak rifles isn't that soft like the ar market now and the wasr is the best thing for about 600 going in the Ak world.

I can't believe they way the AK market has gone up since I got on here. But, the way the AR market has fluctuated I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Wasr seem ok as long as you can check it out before you buy it. Heard lots of folks talk about make sure the sights are straight. The feg-65s use to be dirt cheap but they are way up now (newtown panic) never heard any complaints about sar-1s. Lots of folks love the m70ab2 but gotta watch the century builds close for pour quality control. Some Egyptian stuff is great, some ain't. I can't remember how to tell the difference in those. Normally Chinese, Hungarian, Russian and Arsenal stuff is good to real good.

If I had to choose another AK, it would be a VEPR or Saiga, most likely.
