Legally they cannot do that.

However, if you are on private property they can claim you are trespassing. They tried at the one last year but when a lawyer began to question the city police like who made the complaint or was one even lodged they backed off.

The cops probably talked the fire chief or whoever was in charge of the fire station to press trespassing charges or some bull**** like that.

They'd have a tough time even then. The event was advertised and held open to the public to attend. The property owner gave license for members of the public to enter the property and would have to rescind consent. The police can't do that for the property owner.
