Puckers your butthole doesn’t it? I got a pair of chaps with all the thread pulled out on my upper thigh, right over my femoral artery. Was sawing by myself too. Won’t fire it up without chaps anymore. Almost got in a hurry and didn’t wear them that day..

Cutting small sweet gums etc , thick bunched up small saplings , took a step forward with my left leg and voila.

I've got a nice 5" long scar on my thigh from stopping my chainsaw blade on my leg.

Watch out for the tree too!

My dad dropped a 36" diameter pine, hung on another, when he started the cut further up the tree it kicked off and killed him. DRT, did not even know it happened.

My condolences I have read about this phenomenon it happens fast and is unpredictable.
