Buying a pistol in Florida rules

Help!! I am right on the Florida border. Can I buy a pistol FTF in Florida legally without going thru a FFL??? I have bought from Florida dealers and had shipped to FFL.

I don’t have any problem with going thru a FFL, but what is the ruling.

Yep you have to go thru a FFL. To be legal anyway.

And to add, the FFL that ultimately transfers the gun to you, on a handgun purchase, must be in your home State.

So you can not even cross the border, and buy from an individual using a FFL in Florida ....unless that FFL then ships the gun to one in Georgia, where you complete the process.

^^ yep. Not sure about any rules for having someone from FL come to GA and meet you at an FFL to do the transfer...

Just the same as if you bought off GB, and it was shipped to the FFL.

The FL owner can bring the gun into GA, then a GA FFL can "put it on the books", and transfer to a GA resident.

I did a purchase with a guy from Greenville, SC that way.
