Cheap (inexpensive) guns you just love

Traded into one last year. Then traded it back to the local member. Wound up trading for it again earlier this year. It's good to have at least one DA/SA hammer fired pistol.

I REALLY want one of these. People say the Taurus TX22 is better but this one looks cooler to me. Oh and I'm a glutton for Kel Tec punishment.
Decided to go out this afternoon and shoot it. 200 rounds of bulk pack and not one failure. That’s pretty dang good considering how dirty 22lr is. The MCARBO trigger is a cheap but excellent upgrade. Good tutorial on their page for the install. Keltec also now has the slide with an optic pre-installed. It’s a little steep on price but I like it.

Interesting. I've always liked the Bulldog, Never owned one, just never had the right deal. I had a Undercover 38
They shoot great ! The .44spcl is very much handle-able out of the snubnosed, lightweight alloy frame. It does have a good soft set of rubber grips though ! Lol.
I carry it on ankle, in front pocket, large jacket pocket, tucked anywhere a snub nosed revolver can go !
When you look at the front of that .44bbl and cylinder with some hollow points visible , it is intimidating to say the least ! Lol.

I really like my budget AR9 build I did for USPSA. I got a bunch of parts on sale and at random gun shops over time. The process of putting it together and getting it running was half of the fun. It's no JP5, but it's a nice shooter

I’ve got an Armineous , not sure on spelling that I bought for 25. Dollars in the 70s. It’s da22 lr with 6” barrel. It’s has sent countless carpenter bees to their deaths. Definitely my favorite cheap gun

My dad bought an 4inch barrel Arminius 22LR in about 1967-68…. probably from K-Mart…. it has the same profile as a S&W 38 spcl (except plastic grips)…. I carried it when in uniform and working as a security guard while putting myself through college in 69-72…. over those years, I probably ran >5000 rounds through the barrel…. still have the gun and outside of a little holster wear, it’s in really nice condition

Had one in 14 that I scored from another member for $100.00. But it was the basic security 18.5" model. Then I got an H&R Pardner Pump in a 20" camo Kinda Turkey gun setup. So I sold the Stevens. And dammit not long after that I traded the H&R. Still miss both of them.

My H&R Pardner 12ga with camo. Paid $129 on sale at Adventure Outdoors about 3 years ago. I saw it in their weekly ad and went right down and picked it up. It is a very accurate and reliable shotgun. I really like it. I have no reason to ever part with it.

I want another one so I can throw some 870 wood on it along with maybe a 2 round extension. That would be different and look cool since it has that sorta hump backed receiver. I wonder if they're still importing them.

Built this one for around $400.00 maybe 2 years ago. TNArms lower and Davidson Defense upper. I went short as possible and used the shortest buffer tube and special buffer . I was going for something like a modern Tec 9.

I have a couple of older 12ga 870’s, and my son has a newer 870 youth model in 20ga. All great guns. I really like the 870 wood, but for what I paid for my H&R, the 870 wood would cost more than the gun itself, I’m guessing. The camo stocks work fine. I really like them. I put a sling on it, an ammo pouch on the butt stock, done.

I have no idea if they are still importing them. I’m guessing AO was clearing these out when I bought mine. Most 870 parts are compatible with the H&R, although I’m pretty sure the chokes are different…Not 100% on that, but pretty sure.

It was a sad day for me when H&R stopped producing US made single shot shotguns and rifles. Those were great, simple American guns. Their imports have been good for me, though.
