Dad’s IHC M1 Garand

We exchange gifts on Christmas Eve since the kids came along, so tonight was the night. Special thanks to 10thmountain , MILSURP Collector and all who have offered advice and encouragement over the many years of searching. Dad was thrilled and so was I.

A Merry Christmas indeed!

Backstory: Dad’s service weapon in the Army was an IHC M1 Garand.

I remember that look from my grandfather every time he showed off his M1-Garand.

My dad was a WWII veteran and was wounded during the Battle of the Bulge.
