You know that is one thing I always liked about revolvers. You never have to really lubricate them. At least every revolver I owned never got it.I routinely carry a Seven-shot Smith .357, and have an Eight-shooter that I shoot pretty well, although to be honest, seven plus a coupla' Speedloaders leaves me feeling safe...YMMV, of course....mikey357
