It is true Foxconn is owned by a Taiwanese billionaire, it is also true that most of Foxconn's manufacturing including the Iphone is done on Mainland China.

So chances are yes..you iPhone was made in China.

The key word here is "assembled" in China. Made? Hardly. It takes San Jose CA to create it...and the taiwanese to get the chips needed to "MAKE" them.
