Favorite autoloader handgun Caliber of ODT?

Please don't turn this into a 9mm vs 45, .40 vs 9mm etc debate. Just curious what eeryone prefers. I'm fond of the 9mm now after long times of paying high dollar for 357 sig, 45, 40 etc, as well as the reduced recoil helps me get shots off faster. Anyways, what's your favorite caliber?

9mm is more economical for me at the moment, I'm comfortable with it, follow up shots are quick, and I love the capacity. Main reason is I like shooting, but I'm not a man with many dollars.

Get what it's saying about the advantages of a larger bore handgun and I will never disagree with you. However 9mm is more economical to shoot and allows me more capacity. Other than that if they made .45's that cost 13$ a box and 15 round capacity in an easy to grip compact I'd be all over it

9mm, cheaper to shoot, more ammo in the mag.

Modern 9mm +P 124gr load for my carry gun...cheap 9mm target loads for practice...what's not to love?
