9mm in my G19 all the way. Affordable and adequate for any situation despite what some may say.

I prefer a 1911 chambereed in 45 ACP, but I am much more effective with a glock in 9mm so that's what I carry.


For q leisurely day at the range, I'll take the big 45 over any other gun.

100% agreed. I can shoot that G19 better than any other pistol I have ever picked up. Little bit of a learning curve, (mainly getting used to the Glock trigger,) but I feel very good about me and my G19 now.

I had to vote .40 cause .45 GAP I do like shooting the GAP though.

Nws, do you mean 1911 for a leisurely day or .45 cal? for me leasiure is shooting a lot for cheap, which .45 does not do lol. If I had a Sig gsr carry 1911 or another Kimber (gasp) I'd own a .45 as a range toy.
