My M-1 Garand gets Grease as that is what is required on it by the manual everything else gets oil- whatever i can find around the house

I use Frog Lube with great results...
grease is for cars and trucks
frog lube. leaves your gun smelling minty fresh too
Different guns require different products but after 50,000 rounds through my USPSA open gun, I'll stick with Mobil one. This gun is as tight as the day I got it.

I started to use FireClean. Its actually some of the best stuff I have used but it is expensive as oils go.
Frog Lube and shooters choice grease on the rails.. only frog lube on Ar's and Shotty's..
Just be careful with Frog Lube around firing pins.. I got some in one of my 870's pin area and apparently it had some other product on/ in it.. the gun got pretty cold that night and it just gummed up, actually all over and not just the bolt and pin mechanism.. I had to completely take it down, boil the parts then soak em in mineral spirits..

Think I am going to try that Nano stuff after reading about it sounds good.
