Has anyone had any experience sending firearms to Ruger to be worked on?

I’ve sent 3 back! 1 single action super black hawk for rebluing and they went through it and replaced 7 part’s that were wore and I only had to pay for bluing. Sent one back that was messed up by owner and they repaired free . Third one had them fit a 45 acp cylinder to gun. All excellent work and fast turn around.

Sent two back. They sent them back saying they were fine.

Call them and talk to customer service. If they think it's an issue they will send a pre-paid label for you to send it back with.

One thing though, they only do that if you are the original owner in most cases now. It used to be they would do that for any Ruger. So they may need a copy of your receipt if they are paying the frieght.

Yeah, it was a buy here on our site.
I figured they would probably make me pay something. So I am going in with that in mind so there isn't any disappointment when they say it will cost ____ .
