How do i sell a gun on ODT?

He was looking for a serious answer and got a bunch of crazy answers. Lets not confuse the new folks.
as long as the buyer is a Georgia resident, all you need to do is verify that he or she is 21 years of age and a Georgia resident. That's all you need to buy/sell or trade a handgun in the state of Georgia. You will need a background check to purchase from a gun shop, pawn shop or big box store that sell firearms. Someone correct me if i'm wrong please..Thanks
you do not have to write any information down about the buyer/trader, just verify that they are legally able to buy a gun in goergia
post an ad in the classifieds, the bill of sale might make some folks ignore your listing

Post an add with pics figure out what your gun is worth, then ask half that price.
Try to do most of the negotiations (price, meeting place & time) through PMs so you'll have a record in case anything goes wrong.

Thanks guys!! I actually didn't know that in GA you are not required to keep records of whom you sold your weapons. In this case a look at person's DL and a hand shake is enough for me. I love our state. I also loved the post about the blood test, that was funny
