How do you store your 30 round AR 15 mags ?

I keep the loaded ones in the safe. Some stacked, some in mag carriers.

I keep some in ammo cans and a few in a bag.

Empty/NIW ones in a small rubbermaid tub in the safe. Loaded ones in a gun or in a mag pouch.

I keep them loaded in these http://www.amazon.com/MOLLE-Bandolier-Ammunition-Pouch-M16/dp/B009UIEEV4 and then put into ammo boxes with desiccant packs.

You can find those bandoliers at surplus stores for cheaper than Amazon has them, you can also get them in other colors, I just posted that link to give a visual reference. Having them in the bandoliers is pretty handy. Makes it easy to grab mags and go. When I go to the range I just grab a few bandoliers and I am off.

It's the compressing and un-compressing that causes wear. I think Gen 1 pmags had some feed lip failures from being kept loaded but I haven't heard of that problem happening in a while.
