My wife and I just closed on another vacation home, 2 bedroom, bath and a half cottage. It is located in Steinhatchee Landing, with is a fishing cottage community, located in Steinhatchee Florida. The Landing is located right on the Steinhatchee River, which is just a short 20 minute ride to the Gulf of Mexico. This area of the gulf hoist some of the best redfish and sea trout fishing in the state, along with scalloping, when in season. It is also a great location for offshore fishing as well. We are so happy to now own this location, because it offers so much more than just fishing. The Landing has so many amenities, a large swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, all which are only open to owners and guests. This location also has tennis courts, volleyball court , horseshoe pit and petting zoo for kids. Steinhatchee is a very laid back little town, which is golf cart friendly. Both locals and visitors, ride them out in the evenings, for dinner, drinks or just to go shopping.Great restaurants to choose from here, which offer both seafood and steaks Most of these places also have live music on the weekend and all the usual Adult Beverages
