Oh dang you’re pretty limited then. The scope market has definitely shifted to 30mm tubes.

If you have a scope you love and a different rifle you want to use for a season, I would swap the old scope to the other rifle. Easy for me to say because I can zero in my backyard. It’s really the most economical choice. You can even track adjustments to get back to zero again if you swap back.
