Not me. One "negative" -- even a recent one-- would not scare me away from dealing with somebody who had a dozen positives, also recently.

What if the guy who "backed out of the deal" was all set up to buy a 1993 Colt Python with a brushed nickle finish for $1500 when, at the last second, another guy posted a 1959 Colt Python in Royal Blue finish for $1500. The buyer can't afford both. I can understand breaking the deal on the first one to jump on that second one.

Yeah, there's some of that going around lately.

Lately? Like since discussion board first started.
With only a slight knowledge of the web one can start a new account in moments and would be difficult to spot. Usually their “personality” gives them away.

Yes, I can imagine it's problematic to deal with, especially when someone is a business administration, real estate, IT support professional from Brookhaven. Basically a James Bond villain.
