Negative Feedback

Not me. One "negative" -- even a recent one-- would not scare me away from dealing with somebody who had a dozen positives, also recently.

What if the guy who "backed out of the deal" was all set up to buy a 1993 Colt Python with a brushed nickle finish for $1500 when, at the last second, another guy posted a 1959 Colt Python in Royal Blue finish for $1500. The buyer can't afford both. I can understand breaking the deal on the first one to jump on that second one.

Lately? Like since discussion board first started.
With only a slight knowledge of the web one can start a new account in moments and would be difficult to spot. Usually their “personality” gives them away.

Yes, I can imagine it's problematic to deal with, especially when someone is a business administration, real estate, IT support professional from Brookhaven. Basically a James Bond villain. ;)
