There are at least two things we can pretty well be assured of...
1) Some sort of restrictions on magazine capacity
2) Background check on all firearm purchases
Do yourself a favor, if you don't have a "Georgia Weapons Carry License" or whatever you want to call it, get one. If the background check becomes law, the lines are going to be very long for folk applying for Carry License.

With what's happening to the saps in New York with gun permits--I wouldn't care to have my name on a specific, collected list like that.
Ok, so he's not backing down. So what? There still isn't enough support to pass any legislation at this point. I just love the political posturing, kinda like me standing on the opposite side of the fence from a lion and taunting it. Yeah, it makes me look like a big man until I decide to cross the fence.
