Or you could ship it to his favorite local Alabama gun shop or pawn shop and they'll transfer it to him (An FFL dealer can receive guns from anybody in any other state, but private individuals cannot.)

Just make sure beforehand that the FFL will receive guns shipped from private individuals.

Don't make it a direct sale. Could be a sting operation. Use FFL's in GA-AL to make the transfer.
