I did that to a Ranger . . . . years ago . . . . scuff pad, some acetone, and 18 cans of 0.97 Walmart black spray paint . . . wish I still had pictures, it wasn't great by any means - but wasn't horrible. Under $25 !!!Just rattle can it with no prep work and you have the same paint job as maaco.
I want to paint my Wrangler. It doesn`t really need it,just a little touch-up,but I will go ahead and do the whole thing. I just read a website with a list of atrocities committed by Maaco. Made my skin crawl. And I ain`t thin-skinned. Has anybody here had a GOOD experience with Maaco?
Cheap, fast or good. Pick two and forget about whichever is left. I've been doing this for 25+ yrs and learned long ago that 90% of a paint job is in the prep.Prep is really important, prep takes time, time = money....... Draw your own conclusion.
