Who has used Maaco?

Prep is really important, prep takes time, time = money....... Draw your own conclusion.

They have so many options and if you ask for cheap you get cheap

I had a car and told them i want factory paint work
Meaning no over spray no orange peel no runs
Perfect clear coat

They did a fantastic job

If you ask for 299 special they spray ontop
Dents dings and bad body work

Highly suggest asking explaining what you want and you will get it

I did that to a Ranger . . . . years ago . . . . scuff pad, some acetone, and 18 cans of 0.97 Walmart black spray paint . . . wish I still had pictures, it wasn't great by any means - but wasn't horrible. Under $25 !!!

I want to paint my Wrangler. It doesn`t really need it,just a little touch-up,but I will go ahead and do the whole thing. I just read a website with a list of atrocities committed by Maaco. Made my skin crawl. And I ain`t thin-skinned. Has anybody here had a GOOD experience with Maaco?

I used them for a 1993 Black GS 300, I have in my garage it came out nice it was there best paint job I paid for!

Cheap, fast or good. Pick two and forget about whichever is left. I've been doing this for 25+ yrs and learned long ago that 90% of a paint job is in the prep.

Leave the windows down and they'll do the interior for free !

I used them back in the day...picked the car up when it was raining.

Was not happy when the car was dry and I could see the job they did, but like others have said, you get what you pay for!
