Why does everyone want PMAGS? They suck!!!

I would think in a combat situation you wouldn't use them. Takes too much time to pop those covers off.

Bingo. I have 3 of them atm and I have yet to use them. The rest of my mags are Colt. I like the look of the pmags in the AR 10 though but as of yet I don't own any AR 10 pmags.

Maybe it's my personal experience..I've had one make of metal mags that have worked 100% and never any issues from the pmags so I'm a bit biased..

well the guys I was with that used pmags never had issues while in the box.. I used metal mags because my unit was to cheap to pay for non issued mags.

If you are deployed and conducting dismounted combat patrols with dust covers on your mags you're either a POG or dead.

That's why they all come with the dust covers bud. Honda makes fantastic cars but you can't say they suck because you don't do what's needed to make sure they run efficiently

Humm, may be some more testing needed but mine stay loaded and ready at all times. Only the ones at home have the covers on them.

Never had a failure, I have heard of folks dropping them an a round fall loose, but not personally. Kinda figured if I dropped one I probably would go for the next one as reaching down would probably make me leave/lose cover.

I've never had an ak mag have a problem with bent feed lips. Just throwing that into the pot. Yep I'll just leave that right here
