A gunbroker seller: Would you bid?

Had good experiences on gunbroker way back when...but one way to be sure is involve the FFL or gunstore on his end. Pay a few extra bucks to the FFL to have them verify the item before sending. Send them the funds as MO for the seller and they verify the item, ship and give the seller the funds.

Pay with one or more money orders. They're traceable and you have recourse if you're defrauded.

That can be GOOD if it's a violin, but BAD if it's a woman.

In an online world, I would avoid sending MO or Cashiers check. Use a Credit Card. If you send a MO or cashiers check, and they send you a box of lead weights, there is no recourse. None. Your word against theirs.
