I think the bottom line is this :

All upper tier ak-47 are milled. Why? Cause they cost more to make. If I was mr k I'd want my picture taken with a milled ak too. Stamped aks are cheaper to make so the public sees them as cheaper quality. Not true but it is what it is. Both have upsides and downsides.
