Best Handgun Defensive Caliber for Old Arthritic Granny?

Get a youth 410 Shot Gun with slugs and call it a day. Pistols are not the best home defense weapons

Especially not for old arthritic grannys. I had an older lady I used to work with come to be AFTER she bought herself a Glock 26 for home defense. She wanted me to show her how to use it/shoot it, etc. She couldn't even rack the slide. I was like who sold this to you and did you even ask about it? Crazy, it's useless if you can't use it.

A 10/22 charger with a 25 round mag and a shake awake red dot. If something was to happen, and she can get to her weapon, the best we can hope for is for granny to spray and pray. Good luck, and let us know what you end up setting up your grandma with.
