I guess I'm just not scared anymore. I've been in worse places than this and came out fine. I'm damn sure not letting carry bans decide where I'll go. If I'm going someplace sketchy I'll bring it, but I don't. I'm not worried about getting jacked on my way to work and last time i bought some Crack it was from a friend. I think I'll be fine...

per my son, the MM event is now on private property, therefore they can choose to ban guns....It apparently is not at Piedmont Park....

ALL the news reports and websites promoting this event SAY it's held "At Piedmont Park" but I suppose they could mean that it's held on one of the private businesses / restaurants / markets that have long-term leases on Park land, and if those leases are the right kind, THAT leased property could have a weapons ban imposed by the private business tenants.

But I find it hard to believe that such a festival won't spill over into the actual park land / lawn itself, which is not under a long-term lease ("estate for years") to some private entity.
