Great concept, but not sexy enough for the U.S.
Our Israeli instructor brought the idea of a fold up hat for the "good Guys" to carry with them in case of an active shooter situation. The LE and security forces over there keep these hats with them when off duty or under cover so they can throw it on and not get mistaken for the active shooter by the others responding.
The problem is, the hats look funny. Kind of like a welder's hat with a smaller, more floppy bill on it. There's not much traction on a great idea because of the way it looks. Not to mention the DA and liberal media would paint you as a cowboy looking to shoot someone if you weren't LE.
Jones Tactical is made right here in Georgia, his stuff is really good but just a heads up the wait times for his gear can be a little long. That isn't to say his stuff is not worth the wait, it totally is. Just a heads up.
For me at least, a quality belt makes a lot of difference.
