I read or hear stories like this one and shake my head. Building a business based on brief metric’s due to the Covid economy. Taking out long term debt because times are good! I understand making the quick buck without long term debt or exposure, but many people thought the covid economy, free money and insatiable demand was here to stay. There are many stories like this out there and many more to come!

Oh yeah. The covidiots thought the free money, paused student loans, high spending would last forever. Now it's all dried up, and people are realizing they gotta pay their debts now. Who'd of thunk they didn't prepare?

The business decisions made during the covid increase in sales and spending are now just starting to show how incredibly dumb a lot of business owners actually are.

Hell, I'm still pissed off at all the little tin pot dictator mayors all over the country that thought they had the authority to shutter restaurants for months on end. That was never necessary or effective in "preventing the spread."

You could go to Kroger or Walmart or the gas station, but a restaurant? Oh hell no, can't have that.

If you owned or opened a rim shop, body shop that specializes in pimpin' whips, just prior to the covid checks, you were a visionary. If you didn't close it up at the end of 2021, you're a dunce.

Everything financially tied to covid turned out to be a scam.
Trump bucks? Thanks for 4k over a couple years but it looks like that was one of the main ingredients to the decade long inflation fest we're in.
PPP Money to keep business going? Yeah, every politician and all their friends/family applied fully knowing they're were going to forgive everything. Now we're finding out 25%-50% of all funds were misappropriated or fraudulent. Ironic that taking free money to keep failing businesses that didn't plan for a storm is "good business" and not socialism but bailing out school loans is "socialism" and not good business. Shows what a scam the entire economy is.

Wu flu thread! Peace ya'll

Yeah the PPP loans were the biggest scam of all. And many politicians, both R and D benefited from them and then forgave them. Why the media doesn't talk about that or demand answers from politicians blows my mind. The same politicians who voted not to forgive student debt, voted to forgive PPP loans. I'm not pro student loan forgiveness mind you, just pointing out the hypocrisy. F them all.

It's why I didn't point out Republican or Democrat. They don't care about R vs D or real issues as long as they stay in power to make money.
Maybe since almost all businesses are posting record profits, we should ask them to repay? Nah, won't want to cost the CEOs/top executives their 4th beach house.
