I had the SD40VE. It is a great gun for the price, just remember the saying you get what you pay for. It def shoots like a $299 gun. I luckily was able to unload it for what I had in it, so no big deal. I would def go Glock or I have just recently purchased two Springfields, and I love those as well. Everyone has their own personal opinion, and that was mine.

kind of a late post, but i was finally able to get my hands on a glock 30s. it was like finding a unicorn. this guy at a shop i go to was talking about it, i asked if he had it with him, of course he carries, so it was right there. shining like a pot of gold (in a glock sort of sense) and he asked if i wanted to shoot it. "ABSOLUTELY" Im an average sized guy, but for whatever reason i was given fat fingers and hands, so i like a wider grip. some have complained about the thickness of the 30s grip, but i love how it feels. i guess thats just to follow up on the handling each and feeling them part.
