HB859: "Campus Carry" Bill Introduced by Rep Jasperse

It made it out of committee with a few changes... ie concealed carry only. GCO is trying hard to at least get the "public" school verbiage changed so that this law would allow for carry at both public AND private campuses legally. Of course a private school still has the right to ask you to leave if they don't like that you carry a firearm.

I made a bunch of phone calls yesterday to several Representatives in the Rules Committee, asking them to support the bill either "as is" (at that time) or, if it is amended, only if GeorgiaCarry.Org approves of the bill in that newest version. Everybody I talked to seemed pro-gun and in favor of expanding campus carry.

Glad that this is FINALLY coming to light. This guy is a snake who destroys gun bills every year while claiming to support the second amendment. Get the word out. He and Deal need to asap

Cagle has been covertly impeding restoration of 2A rights and yes is "a" snake in the grass. The Democrat/Socialist party well we can expect them to be good Democrat/Socialist save but a few who vote against party lines. But they are not in control and until their party's political planks change significantly hopefully never will be.

The true threat is the Republican Brutus such as Cagle who will use his influence to undermine forward progress of our citizen's gun rights.

The bill made it through the senate judiciary committee today! I was there at the hearing, the antigunners were spitting into the mics afterwards. I think I'm going to watch the coverage tonight on a loop.
