the other thing it could possibly be other than rod is a broken upper or lower motor mount

just drive it till it blows..it will become evident what ever it isThats why i know its not a rod knock or spun bearing. Its an intermittant sound. I drive 250 miles a week and it may only do it once-twice a week. Ive replaced two of four engine mounts and inspected the other two.
Ya, I havent been as concerned about it as I probably should be lol.just drive it till it blows..it will become evident what ever it is
Yeah, knock when under a load is probably a rod bearing on its way out. Injectors dont knock that loud. If anything, you get a gurgling from a bad regulator or clogged injectors causing idling, runnability issues. How many miles on it.
Knocks when cold, now under load..... Main or rod bearing about to go bye bye. Piston slap has its own kinda noise.
Injectors will tick, maybe even "loudly" but its not a knock.
Shoot some video and post it, let's hear it.
It just hit me..its probably a timing belt tensioner bearing and or a water pump bearing..test all tensioner with e accessory belt offYa, I havent been as concerned about it as I probably should be lol.
