How to pick a muzzle for a .308?

You looking to add fresh or salt water mussels to your rifle?
Not sure how you're going to attach aquatic shellfish to it though. Is it even possible to thread a shell? I'm sure someone with more expertise will chime in.
They will attach to just about anything givin the right circumstances. I would go fresh water myself. Rusts slower
Hell yeah, get enough rounds down the pipe and you can have yourself a good ol' fashioned fish fry on your barrel. OP might be onto something.

I bought a two or three side port from a specialist in Texas I will have to give his name. It does a great job keeping muzzle flip at an acceptable level but it did cost me a buck fitdy. Some of that was he had to resize the thread diameter. I mean its a 308 and has the same recoil as one of my 6.8's. however the gun does have some heft so that help also. I can tell you that the guys at the range will hate you emmensly.
