Mark Kelly's unsucessful attempt at straw purchasing blocked by dealer

Seems like he was possibly entrapping a ffl holder as well as purchasing an AR-15 just to make a political statement..
As far as I'm concerned, the dealer did the right thing.

From the dealers point of view I would have done the same thing. It's the dealers right to refuse to sell to anyone for any reason. He just saved his company a lot of bad publicity !!!

Nope it wasn't a straw purchase. I like the FFL statement that he was purchasing for reasons other than for his personal use.

that is true, it wasn't illegal for him to buy it but his intent in buying it wasn't the most beneficial towards gun ownership rights, in effect negatively effecting the shop that sold the gun

So, maybe I am mistaken. I apologize for making an incorrect statement and I will edit that part of the post.
I still agree with the dealers choice to cancel the sale though..
