Indeed. I don't see people lining up to take trains though.
No but most of the stuff that you buy in the stores is moved on them. Wally World and Amazon could not operate without them.

I was not referring to municipal transportation. I was saying trains for personal travel across the country was once the best you can get around the time 45lc was the best for handguns.
Probably obsolete for combat. But certainly not obsolete for self defense or hobby shooting. Shooting and handling revolvers hits me right the feelings. They'll always have a place in my collection.
Not sure what you're trying to say here. Revolvers aren't a train. Or a horse and buggy. They're a method of holding ammo until you can liberate the lead from the casing. Being that's the case, for reliability you can't beat a revolver.
No, they're not as pretty, or as slick, but unless you're trying to arouse the burglar with your sexy pistol not a single bit of that matters at crunch time.
I was saying that 45lc revolvers are antiquated much like trains for personal travel. For most cases a plane will do better than a train like a semi auto will do better than a revolver.
