Yeah i take all my stuff in already boxed up. No questions and no scene made
What's odd is I've used a UPS store in Chicago to ship a rifle with no problemo. In Macon you'd think I was trying to ship Uranium 235.
Telescope would still be accurate.
In fact they were called 'telescope sights' well into the 70s and 80s. Col. Jeff Cooper always called them that in his Gunsite newsletters in the 1990s (that's as far as I've gotten so far).
I think for my XDs recalled pistol I actually dropped it off at my local UPS store. I remember it also went 2-day, which surprised me as well.
On the other hand, that was a huge campaign so I guess they were willing to bend the rules for them.
I think that's the only time I haven't had to go to a hub to ship a firearm (vs parts) back to an FFL. Never had a problem there though, they have always been easy to work with at the one at Fulton Industrial.

I shipped a firearm UPS, just had to do it overnight with no problem. From PTC shipping center, not a store, but a hub, more or less. The only flap I got was when I wanted to send it 2nd day, not overnight. Corrected and shipped.
What type of firearm?
