Can not confirm it was the Deputy's car (but it did have a handcuffed female in the back seat.). Any one see a negligent homicide civil suit in the near future.

I feel horrible for the person (woman?) in the back seat. Handcuffed, doors can’t open from the inside, I’m assuming a divider between the front and rear seats. Basically sitting in a tomb, cold water pouring in, knowing without a miracle she’s going to die. Whatever she may have done didn’t deserve a death sentence. What a terrible end for her.

It’s sad that the deputy died but you accept that as a possibility when you sign up, just like firefighters or military. The person being transported though…….

Kinda like the woman left handcuffed in the back of a cop car that was on a railroad tract. Great timing. A train came thru and a cop just left it on the tracks. It was a miracle the prisoner survived. I don't know about the cop's job surviving.
