I've worn steel toe boots since early 90s. Carolinas, DMs, Gripfast, Grinders (the boot, not the website weirdos), Bates, Mil issue, Rocky's etc.

Currently I'm wearing Belleville "brown shoe Navy" Navy flight deck boots for work. They look huge, but are 8.5R....

I'm late, but last 4 years I buy a pair of Ariat steel toe slip ons, but specifically the ones produced in Mexico. Walk many miles a day, no issues. Replace the insoles as needed.
