You left out the part about the time delay from boom to tink.it’s fun. The gear, science, ammo prep, working with friends and your spotter, getting ready to make the shot is all fun.
Or dust cloud in my case..You left out the part about the time delay from boom to tink.
1k isn't even that far. Lol
True…….depending upon the caliber and bullet you’re using…..
I agree I know my rifle will shoot out further but Im a 100-150 yard guy. Out past that my vision and steadiness become a concern.I'm fascinated with making a 300 yd shot.
Why do people play golf?Oh wait I know......
People watch too many movies. The odds of ever taking a shoot over three hundred yards for anyone is pretty slim and yes I have made 1000 yard shots with iron sights on a machine gun in training but never have I made or attempted a 1000+ yard shot in a real world situation. Why? because it is a waste of ammo. Wait until the target gets closer. And If you are attempting 1000+ yard shots on game/wildlife you are an asshole who is going to wound or injure game.
My rant for today.
