She swore she didn't hear or feel anything. I've never seen a passenger car do that. Just work trucks' front tires.

It was either seriously out of balance or had a bad welt and bulge. The tread was 100 yards back up the road where it peeled off.

Sounds like standard summer hot road and re-cap interaction. Do they even sell those any more? I remember slinging many of them looong ago.

I run one in front and had been about to buy one for the rear window. :-( I hadn't done that yet. Watching it in the rear view mirror was exciting.

For 14" passenger car tires? I know times can be tough on folks but we're talking about a $34 tire here. I doubt it's economical to retread a $34 tire.
