The S&W easy 380 pistols are actually single action trigger mechanisms but with a long enough travel and enough weight to them that they don't feel like single action they feel like a striker fired safe action type trigger.

Look into this Walther. Bought one for my 70 year old wife w/ arthritic hands. She can easily rack the slide and control the recoil. Win / Win. PD 380

Check out the G25 (Glock 19 sized). It’s a wonderfully soft shooter and very accurate.
