This happened to me with a crazy lady that spoke more Chinese than English. She backed up and took out the entire side of my car and then said I hit her. Her daughter yelled at her and left the scene before cops arrived and cop would not go interview her. The rookie was poorly trained and did not cite her even though the physical evidence was so clear. I had to pay my own deductible. Camera is smart move will check on this now.

Not sure I would want one that records speed. Seems like it could put you at fault under certain conditions.

Here is a rule I go by after 20 year in the Logistics and Transportation Industry:

The fastest way to tell if a truck driver is lying, look to see if his mouth is moving. No offense to anyone on a personal level. I am at about 85% with this rule of thumb.
