Tannerite, any way to set it off besides shooting it?

My son managed to set off a small can of Tannerite with a BB gun - but to be fair, when you figure out the kinetic energy, it was about the same as a 22LR round, so it's not really surprising.

rigged abolt action 30-06 and it did the trick, just tricky in the dark w/o nvg. Zerod a green laser to 10 yards, set up rifle in a vise and string fired it with laser being sighted via binoc's. No video, sry.
