Any reasonably priced options to program a 2017 Nissan Altima key?

Hey all,

I need to get a key programmed for a 2017 Nissan Altima as the only one I had was lost.

I already have a blank key fob, I just need to get it programmed and the dealerships are asking $165-170 + tax just for programming which seems outrageous to me.

Do you guys know of any other options to get this done for cheaper?

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately it would cost more with them. Partially because they will only use their own supplied keys so I'd be purchasing that from them too, and they quoted $287 total. These prices are insane!

Try a mobile locksmith service. $165 may sound like a lot, it does to me, but that is less than the cost of 1 hour labor at most dealerships.

I see key programmers every time i go to Costco or Sam’s. They usually set up in the parking lot in a van that has a wrap advertising what they do

Sandy Springs Locksmith charge me 135.00 for the key, cut and programmed for my ‘FJ.
