That safe is probably 1/2-3/4 inch plate steel..... door is probably 1-1.5 inch, it takes a lot to get them hot.

if you think about it all fire safes in a fire get hot, it’s based on how hot, how long vs inside temperature.

I.E. 1-hour 1700 degrees inside temp won’t reach more then 350 den which is where paper chars.
