Everyday people need to deal with this federal fiat, and my advice is that until our elected representatives do their job and protect us, we need to comply, or else.

Just because I don’t have a braced pistol doesn’t mean that my opinion is invalid. If they were to come out and say all pistol caliber carbines are illegal, whether or not they have a brace or sling I’d still be preaching the same thing. And I’d still be holding onto what I have and not complying. Believe me if the day comes where I’m forced to decide between complying with some bs infringement on my 2A right vs. not complying and living as a free man…you know where I stand

Not really, in that the fact we are in this conversation, having to consider this path, is a dystopian situation for 2A.

The 'Why' piece is ringing in my head, and I think most of us want answers from our elected reps, and fast.

Although to the extent we derailed OP's thread I join/support 300_whisper's apology.

I'm just saying that not complying with the ATF's interpretation of this law may result in federal imprisonment. He said he will not comply, but rather live as a "free man."

My point is that he would be free... in a federal prison.

Law abiding taxpayers need to all of a sudden actually forfeit their legally purchased firearms to a federal agency that is not accountable to voters, and by all means is simply throwing the book at gun owners, because they hate the constitution, or at least the people who live the constitution in 2023. Tempted to just convert my 11.5" to an A4, I have the 20" BBL and A2 Stock kit to match. Is that even legal? or does his Federal highness want me to have the pistol brace on a 20" rifle?

Would love to surrender that useless anyway pistol brace in person, just for being able to look an AFT toadie right in the eye. All fine and well if AFT is involved in LE activity, but when they start stomping on law abiding citizens, demanding compliance against fiats, Different ball game.
