FWIW: I was one of those "lucky" people who get free credit and ID monitoring courtesy of the US government's inability to safeguard said information. One of the perks is instant notification of sexual predators and child molesters moving within a certain distance of my home.

Sadly, there are a crap load of bad perverts, rapists, child molesters and abusers out there. A lot of them, even here in NE Georgia.

The good news is, besides the web site listing their address, I can see mugshots of most of them.

I think most counties in Georgia have a way to get notified, but YMMV. It's worth knowing.
