To me it seems ideal for GA deer for the distances I will shoot. The 6.5 bullets have great SD. And I love carbines for slipping through the woods.

OMG someone who actually cares about sectional density. I love it.
6.5G will do what you need it to do. FWIW, I would check out CZs 6.5G bolt gun. I really liked the one I handled.
