Ive carried a 4” model 57....i have carried a 6” Redhawk in .41mag and a 3” RH in .44mag.
I have carried numerous SA types from the Blackhawks and SBH to the Colt SAA .....in all the large calibers , .45colt .44mag .41mag. .357 mag.

Revolvers definitely have a place in todays cabinet for defense weapons.

Basically 100 years, from 1899 or so till the 1980-90 give or take..

I'm including the .38 S&W,

I think there are still some Highway Patrol using large bore revolvers, may be at the officer's option.

The only use for revolvers is bear proofing scared, white legged city boys while they try to catch a trout.

Heck nah! Nothing wrong with a good wheelie as a SD handgun. They take a bit of training that is different from most semi-autos, but they are still a relevant and capable choice for EDC.
