Yeah, Me too.I have sold numerous to out of state folks but transferred through an FFL.
HmmmThat is Federal law. No unlicensed person can sell a firearm to someone who does not reside in the same state as them regardless of what state.
You are correct. I worded that slightly wrong. Thanks for keeping me straight. It's a nitpicking point, but I think the distinction is important.
Hey mane, leave my tats and Ma Dukes car outta disIf the buyer rolls up with an out of state car tag or looks like he just got out of prison, I will ask.
There is a seller on ODT that demands you send ID prior to the meet or no deal.
Taking a peek at a GA WCL kind of answers your three questions. You do you. I'll do me.maybe it’s because a proof or record does not need to be obtained as evidence?
In other words Ga law doesn’t require a seller to gain proof ( not to my knowledge anyway)
I simply ask 3 questions.. and anyone who has met me can tell you I ask all 3 questions..
1. are you a Ga resident?
2. are you over 18?
3. are you legally able to own a gun?
If they answer yes to all 3 questions, I hand them their new gun..
to my knowledge Ga doesn’t require a seller to collect “proof” of any of those 3 things..
Feel free to not purchase any firearms from me.
