Church security

Tell it all brother ,tell it all. LOL
My Minister is of the opinion that it's a lack of faith to carry a gun. I think it's a rather naïve view of the world around us. So I just keep my mouth shut, my pistol well concealed, sit in the back ,watch the door and be the sheepdog even if they don't agree with me. David had a sling to fight Goliath, Peter had a sword tried to split Malcolm's head and ended up cutting his ear off (it was probably his sword, I doubt he borrowed it) I have to wonder why they wanna take a self righteous approach when it comes to guns but they don't think it's a lack of faith to have a burglar alarm at home or insurance on your car. SMH
Have had several in depth discussions with my pastor regarding security. He personally refuses to carry on the grounds he has no training or skill set in that regard, but is fully in favor of the qualified carrying. He is as faithful a man as I have ever met but he understands the world we live in.

too many people and preachers think God is in control of this earth, he is not, satan is the god of this world because adam gave it to him in the garden. God is only in control of his people and that is IF they let him be in control.

The Devil certainly thought he was ruler of the world when he tried to tempt Jesus with earthly power in Matt. 4:8, and Jesus didn’t even challenge this assumption that such power was Satan’s to give or delegate.

No way I would fire an AR in church unless it was like a 9 mm variant. With a 223 or 762 you are WAY too likely to shoot the person behind the bad guy...

A 9 mm with full metal jacket bullet will overpenetrate.
A. 223 / 5.56 mm rifle with a 50 grain varmint bullet will not overpenetrate; or it’s extremely unlikely.
Just because the military uses full metal jacket ammo and desires to penetrate enemy helmets at 500 m doesn’t mean that we civilians have to choose the same ammo with the same characteristics.

By the way a rifle with a shoulder stock, compared to a pistol, is far easier to hit a target without actually aiming (just pointing) and it is quicker to aim and take headshots with precision. Pistols will give you more misses than carbines would.

But I still say go with the concealed pistols for the sake of being discreet and the crazy killers not knowing where the sheepdogs are .

Unarmored madman coming into the sanctuary? Go ahead with the pistols. Wearing body armor like the guy last week?!?! **** your pistols. You need rifle and a Marksman with a cool head behind it. Your LCPs and Gluck forties ain't gonna git it.
Glock 40s? Whats wrong with 15 rounds of 10mm out a 6" barrel for taking down bad guys?

OK, a 27 might not be the best offensive weapon.

Carry what you can, and use it to its fullest potential. The more people with pocket guns, the more likely the bad guy is within range of one of those pocket guns.

I own a g40mos and it would be about as easy to conceal a carbine. Have settled on my g21 in an Alien Gear, it is fairly discreet and potent enough.
